WEDDING FAQ's

We know this is the least fun part that nobody wants to read, but everything we have listed in the policies, we've seen people do that we consider rude. So, it's important to lay out all our expectations up front so we can all have the best day.

CEREMONY

DOORS CLOSE AT 4:25 PM

They open at 4 pm, so you have plenty of time. We've been to weddings where guests try to sneak in the mid-ceremony or mid-bridal processional, and y'all aren't that slick. Everyone will notice, and it's not a good look, babe. So, if you miss the arrival window, you'll have to wait outside until the cocktail hour starts.

IPHONE AND PERSONAL CAMERA PHOTOGRAPHY

Emmanuel, our photographer, is a dear friend of ours, and his work is exceptional. Please don't be rude and undermine his incredible artistry by having your phone out during the ceremony. There will be plenty of time for candids and selfies at the cocktail hour and throughout the reception.

PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SILENCE YOUR PHONE

We once were at a wedding where, mid ceremony the WAZZZUUUPPP ringtone blared  out, stopping the ceremony for three minutes while it continued to play and no one wanted to admit they were the one's responsible. Please, for the love of God, don't let that be you at our wedding.

CHILDREN

This is an active train track with no enclosed fencing, and there will be large, tippable art pieces in the venue. In addition to the fact that we just want to have a good time and not be worried about or focused on your kids, there are some major safety hazards that necessitate leaving them at home.

Please add your email to our childcare form for assistance locating local childcare options near the venue.

DRESS CODE

COLORS

There is no specific color requirement (except not wearing white or bright red). Instead, think about wearing autumn colors. Navy blues, chocolates, deep greens, burgundy, emeralds, dark pinks, black, etc., since these colors best match the wedding aesthetic.

GENTS

A dinner jacket and slacks or a two-piece suit are preferred. Jackets may be discarded as the night goes along. Please, no graphic t-shirts, sandals, or flippy floppies. Keep those little piggies tucked away, s'il vous plait.

Plain t-shirts are totally fine under a suit or dinner jacket.

LADIES

Mid-length to floor-length dresses, jumpsuits, or two-piece suits are preferred. Open-toe or closed-toe, heel or no-heel shoes are totally fine as long as they are formal shoes and not casual flip-flops or Birkenstocks. We have no preference for the shoulder strap situation as long as bra straps are covered or non-existent. When planning your outfit, consider that it is October in Georgia, so the night air may be crisp.

WHAT NOT TO WEAR

It should go without saying, but we've seen it done, so we have to mention it plainly: Please don't wear a white dress or blouse to our wedding. And yes, white background dresses with tiny flowers or pastels so muted they might as well be white still count as white dresses.

Please don't wear sports memorabilia, short dresses, bright red dresses or shirts (lipstick is totally okay!), shorts, jeans, hiking sandals, or flip-flops.

OPEN BAR

Y'all know us, so it should come as no surprise that we have a fully stocked open bar ready for you! We want y'all to have fun, just be kind to our bartenders and drink responsibly.
